Preview Service

For a one-time charge of $30 per slideshow, the Permanent Treasures Preview Service works for you in two ways:-

Editorial Control: Permanent Treasures believes in consulting with you on a personal level to ensure that your DVD slideshow is everything you dream it will be. Before your order is burned to DVD and returned to you, we will upload your completed slideshow to the internet for your review, feedback and editorial requests. By taking advantage of this invaluable service, you are able to work hand-in-hand with us to create the perfect slideshow.

Online Sharing: Once your show is completed and shipped to you, the final product will be available on your private website for an additional 30 days from the date your order is shipped, at no extra charge. You choose with whom you will share the website address - no one else will be able to access it. This will allow your family and friends who live far away to view your slideshow movie. Please contact us if you would like your slideshow hosted online for longer than 30 days; there will be a $30 additional charge per monthly extension.

This service is available for Windows users with highspeed connections only - not available for Mac OS users or those with dial-up connections and may not be available for rush order clients.

DVD Player Lens Cleaner

Before playing any custom-created DVD, it is extremely important to clean the DVD player you will be using! A DVD laser-lens cleaner is a DVD disc containing tiny brushes which "sweep" your DVD player's laser lens. For your convenience, Permanent Treasures can include a DVD lens cleaner (normally $9.99) with your completed order for only $5.00.

Our discs are custom-burned for each order, so they cannot be coated with a protective plastic layer as the DVD-ROM format discs which are mass-produced for wide-release commercial movies. Because they lack the plastic coating, custom DVDs are highly sensitive to any particles that are commonly found on most DVD players. Particles on the laser lens can cause pausing, stopping, skipping and soundtrack issues. If you have never cleaned your DVD player's lens before, you should run the cleaner at least 2-3 times to ensure that all of the particles are removed.

Rush Orders

Rush Orders (turnaround time = 5-10 business days) may be available for an additional fee of $50.00 per slideshow. Turnaround time will depend on the size and complexity of your order.

Late Submission of Materials

It is very important that all original materials (print/digital photos, slides, negatives, video, paper-goods, etc.) be received by Permanent Treasures before production begins on your order. Materials received after production has started will incur an additional charge of $60.00 for remastering, plus $5.00 per each new item. Submission of additional materials within 5 business days or less of an order's due date may cause a delay in order completion and could result in the shipping date of your order being rescheduled.

Shipping and Handling

Return via USPS Express Mail (applicable to ALL Rush Orders) - $30.00. This price includes Express Mail through the US Postal Service (next business day delivery to most areas of the U.S.), $500 of insurance for the order and delivery confirmation for Permanent Treasures. Express Mail Service also provides you with a tracking number and online tracking, to ensure the security and location of your package at all times. This also covers the cost of high-quality shipping materials to ensure the safety of your completed slideshow and your original materials.

Return via USPS Priority Mail - $20.00. This price includes Priority Mail through the US Postal Service, delivery within 3-4 business days, $500 of insurance for the order and delivery confirmation for Permanent Treasures. Please be aware that Priority Mail does not provide you with a tracking number. This also covers the cost of high-quality shipping materials to ensure the safety of your completed slideshow and your original materials.

Local Delivery / Client-Provided Shipping - $15.00. This price includes packaging and handling charges for local delivery and client-provided shipping. If you reside in the Dallas, Texas area, we will be happy to pick up your materials and deliver your completed order. If you are outside the Dallas area and wish to provide your own return shipping, please be aware that Permanent Treasures will NOT be responsible for insuring your completed order and original materials during their return.

Residents of Texas will be charged a sales tax in accordance with the State Sales Tax, which is currently 8.25%.
